About Us

Fernanda and I met on the island of Jersey in 1990 where we both worked at the beautiful 4 star Chateau la Chaire Hotel in Rozel.

In 1993 we received a call through a friend that our services would be very much welcomed at The Gleneagles Hotel and so with heavy hearts left Jersey and headed North….way north!!

We both worked very hard and with some “old School” training taught by some of the best people in the business secured head chef and Head waitress positions respectively and we stayed until the summer of 1999....

Jon and Fernanda’s Restaurant was born in the lovely town of Auchterarder in July that year and until this day we continue to offer great food and wine coupled with good value and friendly service in such a way that will hopefully make you think about returning.
