Fernanda and I met on the island of Jersey in 1990 where we worked at the
beautiful 4 star Chateau la Chaire Hotel in Rozel Bay.
Here we gained the basic skills and methods
that would help us in the future.
In 1993 we moved to Scotland - and worked hard to secure senior
positions at The Gleneagles Hotel.
We spent 7 years working with some
of the best people in the industry again gaining valuable
experience and knowledge.
We then took the brave decision to open
our restaurant (25 years ago) and continue to offer fine
food and wine along with our friendly service.
I focus on flavours - cooking pan to plate using quality ingredients from
reputable suppliers delivered to my kitchen.
We serve food as it should be - tasty - enough on the plate -
maybe with a twist here and there.....
No foams or edible flowers here - scallops always means plural and no
surprise supplements - just fair prices.
We hope you can visit us very soon and
