Fernanda and I opened the restaurant in 1999.
Coming up to 26 years we have welcomed our guests from near and far.
We have always worked in hospitality with a near 7 year stint at the Gleneagles hotel being the "warm up" before going it alone.....
With toddler 1 in tow we ventured down into Auchterarder to
open the restaurant.
At the beginning we offered everything - Morning coffee - lunch - afternoon tea and then dinner....But along came toddler 2 and eventually we made the correct decision to focus solely on our evening service.
The vision back then still remains the same today. To offer
a genuine friendly welcome with carefully cooked dishes from a
creative menu with a varied selection of fine wine by glass or bottle -
cocktails and after dinner drinks and a list of 30 plus malts.
Jon and his sous chef will always be at the stove with Fernanda and her
team taking care of you in either of our cosy dining rooms.
Our team are young and enthusiastic but may have just joined us.
As such they maybe nervous whilst learning but will be trying their best under the watchful eye of Fernanda. Please be kind to them.
Fernanda and I on the other hand are old, grumpy and tired
so if we get it wrong you know why !!
Joking apart - we do understand dining out for most is a luxury
but we really will guarantee you an enjoyable experience
offering good value and always with a smile......
