Fernanda and I met on the island of Jersey in 1990 where we both worked at the beautiful 4 star Chateau la Chaire Hotel in Rozel Bay.
Here we acquired the basic skills and work ethics that would
help us in the future.
In 1993 we moved to Scotland - and both worked hard to eventually secure senior
positions at the world famous playground The Gleneagles Hotel.
We spent 7 years working with some
of the best people in the industry again gaining valuable
experience and knowledge.
We then took the brave decision to open
our restaurant (24 years ago) and we continue to offer you our
food and wine coupled with our friendly service.
I focus on flavour using quality ingredients from reputable
suppliers delivered to my kitchen.
We serve fresh classically cooked food as it should be - maybe
with a twist here and there.....oh and you wont go hungry
No foams or edible flowers here and scallops always means plural !
